I have spent my career underwriting group life, specialty accident and health products on both the carrier and MGU sides of the business. I'm knowledgeable on developing new books of business and developing products and underwriting guidelines for emerging A&H risks. Since I've been on both the carrier and MGU sides, I'm aware of what's needed to pitch a carrier/reinsurer to get comfortable with a risk, as well as how to market and sell downstream to agents/brokers/policyholders.
