Chris Ingram

Vice President, Chief Underwriting Officer - WR Berkley Company

I enjoy working with individuals that are looking for someone that is supportive in their endeavors, looking for help with innovatived ideas, a general resource and willing to take risks to make their idea(s) a reality. Then continue to help mentor to take their ideas and put it into practice to ultimately produce a viable business.

One of the important tools for mentoring is active listening, mutual respect & trust, open communication & accessibility, set goals but at the same time challenging each other and the status quo. In addition, the expectations of a mentor is always maintain confidentiality between one another. Keep any commitments that are made. Evaluate the relationship at various points within an agreed-upon time frame.

In addition, I would like to collaborate and help prospective clients with the marketing side and pitching stages when releasing a new product to potential investors. I have developed new products in the past and feel I have a good understanding of the challenges to obtain interest as well as investment in new innovative ideas/ products.
