Assistant Director - Product Management | Principal

I have worked in the insurance industry for more than 20 years. In my current role as a leader in product management, I focus on technology products for dental provider networks and discount dental. I’m responsible for strategic direction for the product teams, the performance of our products, and ensuring parallel discovery and delivery. My role also involves coaching, identifying the most important problems to solve and biggest opportunities, and communications with stakeholders. In a previous role, I was responsible for dental product development and management in our Workplace Benefits area and also led our dental and vision claims operation. I chair the National Association of Dental Plans (NADP) Communications Workgroup and also serve on NADP’s Consortium Steering Committee. I received my MBA from the University of Iowa’s Tippie School of Management. Outside of work, I have held leadership roles in a variety of civic and philanthropic nonprofits, including the United Way of Central Iowa, Young Women’s Resource Center, and Children & Families Urban Movement (CFUM).
